I'm only about two months behind in posting this! Lo siento. I am still trying to get in the groove of the whole blogging thing...do people even want to hear from a florist anyway?? At least my amazingly talented friend Kelli Murray is on it. I love when we get to do our DIY days...and after we worked on this one- I'm itching to do it again with more patterns + drawings! Despite being so late in the game on this one, I still find myself loving it. So here it is... if you want to do it, just head on over to Kelli's blog to follow the steps!
Lucca Valentine is pretty much the object of everyone's affection. Shes not only the GORGEOUS baby girl of Tori (Sitting In A Tree) but she's got the sweetest most carefree little personality...and I think it's pretty much safe to say all of us Bloem Hill gals are in love. We got the chance to celebrate her 1st birthday by decking her party out with bright, boho-inspired florals. (...the dogs and the faux deer even had florals!) See the full feature here on 100 Layer Cakelet. Fun to collaborate with such amazing people. Thanks to Studio Castillero for the amazing photos!
So excited to share about this project that's been brewing. The amazingly talented Kelli Murray and I are getting together once a month to get all artsy fartsy and bust some fun DIY's out. It's basically an excuse to hang out and be creative. She's one of the most inspiring, sweet, funny, genuine, creative people I've ever met and I love having her in my life. Naturally we decided to do something floral inspired, so we are kicking it off with some watercolor paper flowers. Check out our fist DIY over on Kelli's blog and stay tuned for more crafty crafts from us! xo- nicole
